Lara Logan
Lara Logan (born 29/03/71) is a South African television, radio and war correspondent. She was an CBS News reporter from 2002 to 2018.60 Minutes executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan have called her factually incorrect and politically biased report on the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the most glaring error of my 10-year watching." In the year 2019 she joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media company. The company was acquired by Fox Nation in January 2020. Fox News runs the subscription streaming service. She stated that she was "dumped by the network" in March 2022. Logan was a journalist for the Sunday Tribune of Durban during her studies (1988-1989), followed by the Daily News of the city (1990-1992). She joined Reuters Television Africa in 1992 as an executive producer. After four years of service, she began freelance journalism. Assignments as a reporter/editor/producer for ITN, Fox/SKY News, CBS News (in London), ABC News (in Nairobi), NBC and European Broadcasting Union were all assigned to her. CNN was the first to report on the events in Northern Ireland and Kosovo wars.
